Last Journey

Last Journey was a band that was founded in 1983 by Johan Troch.
With the help from three friends, Troch managed to bring this band in the Belgian cold-wave scene during the mid-eighties.
Last Journey had a difficult existance, fortune was not on their side, so they only managed to have one single-release on a compulation album 'Dit Is Belgisch' that was released in August 1985 on Junior Records.
Between '83 and '85 they performed live as support act for the Belgian alternative music scene.
Lead-singer, writer and founder of the band Johan Troch, started a solo carier as song-writer and later on as composer in Ambient, Soundtrack and experimental music.
Bass-player Yves Peeters unfortunally died in a car crasch in 1988.
Drum player Ivan Heyninck is still active as a drummer in the Rock band The Gang Bank.
Keyboard-player and brother of the late Yves, is Luc Peeters, who isn't active in the music scene since Last Journey split in 1986.

The end of the eighties were an opportunity for Troch to honor the legacy of Joy Division, by recording a dozen of their songs.

In the nineties and early two-thousands, Johan Troch wrote and recorded a handful of Rock-songs under the name of Last Journey.
